Coconut fiber is the fibrous material found between the internal shell and outer coat of a coconut, and which is extracted from the husk. Aside from being a natural material, coconut fiber is relatively waterproof and resistant to saltwater damage.

In the past, the usual practice of farmers after taking the coconut meat out had been to burn the coconut husks.We produce coconut fiber that makes durable material for string, rope, brushes, doormats, carpets, yarn fishing nets, and mattresses. These environment-friendly alternatives would have not reached the market if the coconut husks were left to rot.
